3VR’s new Senior Vice President of Engineering Masayuki Karahashi (better known as Masa) joined us from Oracle just a couple weeks ago. Masa’s first stop – ASIS, where he spoke to 3VR’s Erica Terrell about why he chose to join 3VR and why he finds video intelligence interesting:
I find video intelligence really intriguing because there are so many video cameras all over the place these days and businesses are capturing hours and hours of video footage… but they’re not able to do anything with it. One of the things that 3VR brings is the ability to be able to capture actionable data and I think that’s really exciting.
Masa also weighs in on his key takeaways from ASIS 2012.
It’s time for day two of ASIS, but first a recap of day one…
Check out our video of 3VR’s CMO Joe Boissy from the ASIS show floor. Joe talks intelligent migration- specifically how 3VR helps customers migrate intelligently no matter where they are in the process, whether they're migrating from analog to IP, migrating to advanced analytics and case management solutions, or somewhere in between.
Fun fact: after shooting the video, we lost our handheld video camera in the booth and found it using 3VR’s Video Intelligence Platform (that’s the situation in question at 1:38!).
Welcome to Masayuki Karahashi, our new Senior Vice President of Engineering!
